Carly Cripps understands that individuals and families often seek legal guidance during some of the most challenging and emotional periods of their lives. She strives to provide steady guidance and clear communication, helping clients confidently navigate the legal process while protecting what matters most to them.

Carly began her legal career in Oregon, where she focused on representing survivors of domestic violence. This early experience shaped her client-centered approach to family law and strengthened her commitment to advocating for individuals and families facing complex and sensitive circumstances. Today, Carly remains dedicated to promoting outcomes that protect clients’ safety, stability, and long-term wellbeing. While prioritizing efficient and settlement- focused resolutions whenever possible, Carly is a skilled advocate who is fully prepared to litigate cases when necessary to protect clients’ rights and interests.

Carly focuses her practice exclusively on family law matters, including divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities, parenting time, child support, maintenance, and property division. Recognizing that no two families are alike, Carly develops individualized legal strategies tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and goals. Carly approaches each case with a responsive approach, careful attention to detail, and dedication to ensuring clients fully understand each stage of their case.

Carly is a member of the Illinois Bar and Oregon Bar. She earned her Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. An Illinois native, Carly received her undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University.

Outside of the practice of law, Carly enjoys long walks by the lake, crafts, and reading. She currently resides in Gold Coast with her beloved cat, Parmesan.
